Yuyaykuna ("memories" in Quechua, the language of the Incas) combines the heritage of two cultures: expressive designs and colors of Peruvian art with the Japanese sobriety and minimalism. It reminds our origin, and the blend of cultures.
More than 100 years ago, the Japanese culture came to Peru, and the fusion of both traditions is felt on a daily basis. Yuyaykuna is created to bring together, once again, both cultures, but this time through art and design, with hand-made Peruvian fabrics and the Japanese fascination towards small details.
